The Robertson County Historical Museum in Springfield Tennessee was founded in 1967. They are a nonprofit organization that supports section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code. Every bit of money you give towards the museum will assist them in their giving to the Code. The profession of the Historical Society of Robertson County and the house of the Robertson County History Museum is administered by a Board of Directors that comprises around twelve selected members and their museum manager. The main goal of having this museum is to manage and protect objects that are historically significant to Robertson County, Tennessee. Their other intentions are to offer educational and engaging presentations, programs, and activities for their citizens of all ages. They would like to give a training center on Robertson County History for learners in state schools.
They want to provide a reference for study in connection with Stokes Brown Public Library, Robertson County Archives, Robertson County Court House, and Springfield City Hall. They also want to provide an exit for books of the Robertson County Historical Society. They are always searching for excellent volunteers and would like for you to share your knowledge with others, preserve their stories, or be included in organization and safekeeping their past. The perfect opportunities are ready for you. The museum is located at 124 6th Ave E. Springfield, Tennessee 37172. Visit them Wednesdays through Fridays from 10 am to 4 pm. They are closed on Saturdays. Memberships can be purchased at any time throughout the year and will renew one calendar year later unless it is canceled.
