Drakes Creek Park is very widely known and they provide an expansive city park with lighted fields, basketball courts, sheltered picnic places, and more. The Memorial Park is a peaceful Lakefront park that has a playground, picnic shelter, tennis courts, and an open piece of land. They also have a gazebo, multi-purpose athletic field, playgrounds, restroom facilities, shelters & picnic tables- with a grill, tennis courts, and walking trails. It is a rather widely known park for fishing, picnics, and taking walks.
Veterans Park has Community baseball fields, 2 hockey rinks, a skate park, and a kid’s play spot. They also have designated Baseball/Softball Fields, Bike Trails, Concession Stands, Inline Hockey Rinks, Playground Areas, Restroom Facilities, Shelters & Picnic Tables. One downside is that they don’t have any grills. The large open places lure in crowds with bigger parties that are seeking to spend time outdoors.
