What is Mt. Juliet? A city located in western Wilson County, Tennessee. More specifically, on the outskirts of Nashville – about 17 miles east of downtown Nashville. It was established in 1835, and joined as a city in 1972. Mt. Juliet has quite a few entertainment opportunities, but we’ll be covering Little League here.
So, what does Mt. Juliet have in terms of Little League? To start, they’ve got a sports complex at 10835 Lebanon Rd, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee 37122. Online registration for the Fall 2021 season begins on June 12, 2021 (a Saturday). Sign-ups online can be done at www.mjleague.org, regardless of what you’re participating in. The sign-up window ends July 18, 2021. Unfortunately there will not be an onsite registration for the fall; that would make it too difficult to keep track of everyone, apparently. Instead, everyone interested is being encouraged to register online, as that’s easier for them to keep track of who’s doing what. You may be wondering “what’s this going to cost?” Never fear – registration costs a mere $145.00, give or take a few, for any and all age groups for the Fall 2021 season. Baseball registration must be completed at or before April 30, 2022. In the case of softball, sign-ups must be completed at or before December 31, 2021. Alright, now on to the hours and rules/regulations. Park office hours are Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. (9:00 to 14:00 in 24-hour time). There are a good deal of rules, but here’s a few: absolutely no firearms permitted; smoking is acceptable, but only in parking lots; dogs, bikes, skates, and skateboards are not allowed; the speed limit is 15 mph or about 24 km/h; traffic must be conducted in an orderly manner and park where indicated; trash must be put in trash cans or bins; and children are not to be left unattended.
